warning system An official warning consists of both a PM warning and a board warning. You are allowed two official warnings for breaches of role play rules before a punishment is dealt. Breaches of some OOC rules, such as those intended to keep behaviour civil, will only allow one official warning before punishment is dealt. Official warnings and punishments can only be dealt by Administrators or Global Moderators. Warnings are sent to you stating what specific rule you had broken at that time. Any further questions or confusion can be resolved over peaceful exchanges of PMs with the staff member that issued it. Warnings become void a year after they have been issued. If you would like to know the exact date of one of your past warnings, please contact any of the staff. An example: It's June 2008. If you have prior warnings issued on Jan 07, May 07, and Feb 08, then your Jan 07 and May 07 warnings are void as they are a year old. Specific punishments that can be enacted include (but aren't limited to) avatar revocation, permissions denied from the forums you are having issues in, and downgrade to Student—whatever punishment fits your offenses best will occur to your account. Some offenses will not need a series of warnings, or even a verbal warning, to be given a perma-ban. Plagiarism, virus posting, trolling, etc. are automatic perma-bans. |
