What is Odd 18th?
Odd 18th is S*T's semi-monthly holiday. It occurs on an odd numbered month on the same day-- the 18th. A theme is chosen to celebrate and the members and staff of the board are encouraged to just hang loose and have as much fun as possible; which mostly include breaking as many rules as possible!
But wait, there are rules?
Yes, there are rules to breaking the rules. They aren't hard to follow though, and heck, it's worth following for a good 24 hours worth of spamming!

Only post in spam topics that a staff member has started as a spam thread.
This keeps things from getting too out of hand, and it makes clean up really easy.
Spamming is restricted to OOC forums only.
S*T is about role playing, it's fair that we keep the nonsense away from IC forums.
Have avatar/signature theme sets that pertain to the theme at hand.
Signatures may be oversized during these events. But remember: it's more fun to conform!
PG-13 rating is still in effect and insulting is still against the rules!
I know a lot of us are friends and enjoy ragging on each other, but let's make sure to remember people's feelings. If somebody feels threatened or insulted, you may have to be punished. |

What is Role Play Day?
Role Play Day (RP-D) is a semi-monthly event. It occurs on the first Thursday of every even numbered month. The purpose of RP-D is to bring your characters into the OOC! How will your characters react around normal members and fellow fictitious semblances? The possibilities are endless, and more importantly, full of fun!
Of course there's rules!
It can get kind of confusing with people running around talking relatively normal... So there are some rules on formatting.

Distinguish your posts
No matter how you do it, your posts should be easy to tell apart from your regular posts. Change the color, font, or style of your font to help distinguish the difference.
Do not post in normal topics
Only create or post in topics that are specifically made for RP-D. This helps deter confusion and makes things a little cleaner!
Tag topic titles with "[RP-D]"
Please mark the topics you create with [RP-D] so that topics created for the day are clearly defined. This makes it easy for the staff to come in and clean up when the event is over. |
